All I can say is "the kids are on their third bowl." Thanks Chef Damar for another delicious week of meals. Have to place the golden-crusted rosemary chicken and broccoli pot pie as one of our all-time favorites!

I have been really impressed with this service. They were able to find a chef that can cook for my dietary needs and were able to fulfill the request in a short period of time. Dana has been amazing as the chef and has been able to adapt and cook delicious meals each week! I have a gluten-free and dairy-free diet that I just started and she is able to make meals I had loved previously meet my diet while also being healthy. I would highly recommend this service!

This review covers what my Friend That Cooks, Chef Sarah Glenn, prepared for me for the week starting Thursday, April 22, 2021. Chef Sarah is moving to the Sioux Falls location and, oh boy, are they lucky!

Salmon and egg salad with coarse mustard, butter lettuce, celery, and herbs – Haven’t had egg salad since I was forced to go on a low-fat diet a few years ago. With Chef Sarah’s professional help, here is a combination of foods that have all the flavors I missed and is low-fat. It even had salmon! And this is way better than what I remembered.

Thai curry shrimp with rice noodles and red bell pepper – What a wonderful curry dish! The shrimp are so tender, and the flavors are so terrific that you immediately know that these are no ordinary shrimp. Obviously, they go perfectly with the rice noodles and red bell peppers. Just another example of typical Chef Sarah excellence. (At the time, I always believe that a meal prepared by Chef Sarah is the best thing I’ve ever had. You may think this impossible for every single meal; logically and objectively, you would obviously be right. Ah, but that’s where the Chef Sarah magic comes in and changes everything including the principal of mutual exclusion. Questions?)

French onion smothered pork chops with roasted sweet potatoes and broccoli – Here is a surprise combination of some of my favorite comfort foods. I always liked French onion soup and I miss it due to my low-fat restrictions. But take the best of French onion soup and turn it into pork chop seasonings and I’m back in the game! And it’s just wonderful! Chef Sarah, you are the best!

The Friends That Cook process is so great and professional. We were able to give Chef Xander our favorite foods and foods we don’t prefer. Every week was something to look forward to- the food was always delicious. Chef Xander became an instant friend to the family and was great with my kids. We would highly recommend him to anyone!

Chef Zander is amazing. He’s creative, attentive to our family’s needs, and efficient. We have been so happy with how he is using his talent to help our family eat a more well rounded diet. Thank you!!!

The service that Chef Zander provides is outstanding and has made the evenings more enjoyable for our family. Our family has two demanding full-time jobs and two extremely active children, so our days and evenings are completely filled. Having this service has allowed our family to take care of all the things we want to participate in throughout our day and still provide very healthy meals for our family.
I love that everything is prepared in our home and easily available for us when we are ready for a meal. This is the service my family will continue using and has been a great service for us. I like that Chef Zander plans each meal and I do not have to be involved in those decisions.

Zander was excellent. He took his time, cleaned up and food was great. He is conscientious and would enter on his own make the meals and store them in the fridge with clear instructions.

My daughter and I along with 4 of her friends rented a house for the weekend in Houston Texas for her birthday last year and hired Chef Hernandez for our personal chef...He did an amazing job with the brunch and dinner...If you're ever in the Houston area and need a chef...Chef Hernandez is your go to guy!

We love Chef Damar! We’re trying new foods and his recipes are healthy and taste incredible. We’ve gifted some meals to friends with new babies/neighbors and everyone has raved about it - our kids even have favorites we’ve asked for repeats of. He’s such a great fit for our family/lifestyle and we love having him every week.

I am so pleased with this wonderful service. Sam, our chef is amazing! The moment I knew this was going to work out was the second week when Sam turned to me and said, "Dinner will be ready in 20 minutes." I haven't heart that since I was a kid living at home with my mother! And now I am the "mom" AMAZING!
We are saving money on our weekly grocery bill, saving money not buying take out, not wasting food to spoilage, and eating amazing dinners. This is so much better than pizza and fast food. If I could give a higher rating I would. It's simple and wonderful food, Sam even preps a few things for me to make when I'm feeling like cooking. She makes all of our families favorite dinners, and always adds something new. It's the best of ALL worlds. I met with her manager, Christina, and loved the great energy they both brought to my kitchen. When Sam is done, its clean and smells amazing. My kids 9 & 10 are trying new things, and they love to remind me that its "ok if they like her food better than mine, because she is s REAL CHEF! " I'll take it!
