My husband and I are truly thankful for Josh! Initially, we were looking into meal prep services. However, being that I am the “picky” eater, we were having issues finding one due to not having a choice on what to eat. Then I stumbled upon this service and was intrigued. The process is easy and we were paired with Josh. So far, my husband and I have been impressed with his dishes and it’s awesome to choose what you want to eat and not a pre planned menu where you have no real say on what to eat. Since using the service, my husband and I feel better since we’re eating better and our meals are portioned to our liking. It may be a little more than going with other meal prep companies but where A Friend That Cooks differs is that you set your menu, they cook to your needs, you know your food is fresh and they clean up after they cook. This service is great!

Chef Damar Wilson has done it again. Thank you Chef for always bringing the comfort food right on time. Your menu choices seem to always uplift the mood in our home. Your savory flavors help us to keep in mind the important things in life: family, friends and food. Eating your food makes everything better.

We just had Samatha Hickey-Fleck cater a birthday brunch for about 40 people and everything was wonderful! Sam was amazing from start to finish. She walked us through some of her ideas and we just said, “Yes! It all sounds wonderful!” She prepared a multitude of yummy bite-sized dishes and an amazing charcuterie! She shopped and prepped the night before and then had everything good to go the next morning before our first guests arrived. And throughout the morning she kept everything stocked and then cleaned everything up afterwards. It was so worth it! Thank you, Sam and Friend That Cooks!

Thomas is our chef and he does a phenomenal job. He come on time every week and follows our recipes to a ‘t.’ He is friendly and professional — he cleans up after he is finished and puts the food in containers in the fridge.
I feel comfortable giving him feedback in case a dish needs tweaking. The only change I would make is if the AFTC company could take a payment service like Venmo so I could pay Thomas directly and wouldn’t have to use my credit card and buy gift cards every week. Other than that, we are extremely satisfied and grateful for Thomas’ service and food preparation—thank you AFTC for sending us such a great cook as we are less stressed and healthier because of it!

Chef Wilson has definitely become an extension of my family.   He gives special consideration to my children and celebrates them with food.  He never ceases to impress with his own personal spin on classic cuisine.   It has been a pleasure having Chef Wilson and the pictures attached tell the story why!

Our Chef Angie is wonderful. She makes our favorites, while still introducing us to new flavors. Angie has been a stress relief for our family. We enjoy healthy, delicious meals. We appreciate her so much.

Jess is wonderful! We have a child with a very severe food allergy and she has consistently worked with this so we have safe, delicious meals that everyone can enjoy. She incorporates lots of fresh fruits and veggies into our meals and the menu is consistently creative. She makes my busy life so much easier! Plus she's just cool...

We Love Mason! He is so incredibly kind and sweet along with making delicious food. We greatly appreciate him taking such great care of our family.

Chef Camille is amazing and I’ve joked that she is now one of the most important people in our family. Between hectic schedules, work, and kids, cooking healthy became harder andc harder. We had to meal plan, grocery shop, prep the food, cook it, and then spend hours in the kitchen cleaning. Camille has been a godsend. She makes delicious and healthy meals catered to our tastes and diet. She’s incredibly creative and continually surprises us with different dishes. On top of that, she even saves us money by expertly shopping. We’ve cut down our grocery bill and food waste! We’ve used Camille for more than a year and couldn’t be happier.

Chef Roy is fantastic. We are a family with two working parents, two young kids, and medical concerns. We turned to Friend That Cooks as a way to reduce stress and improve our health. Chef Roy has done a wonderful job cooking incredible, healthy meals, and taking a load of stress off my shoulders.
