Our daughter and husband work with Chef Louis in Des Moines and so we are in the receiving end of his delicious food when they travel. The man knows how to make an excellent soup!

We’ve had the privilege of working with Chef Louis for two years now. His food is outstanding and has helped us both navigate various seasons of health issues. We look forward to seeing him every Tuesday!

Louis Long is AMAZING! We love our food each week and as a household of two working parents, he's made our lives so much easier! The food is delicious and healthy and leaves our home as clean as he found it! We eat better and my stress level is much lower, thanks to Chef Louis!! 10/10!

Durand has been my chef for about a year and a half now. I have really enjoyed her cooking and working with her. Her cooking and skills have only improved over time. I'm vegetarian, and she has done a great job accommodating my diet. She is nice, considerate, and cleans up very well. I would highly recommend her.

I heard of this company thru a colleague, Dr. Lopez, at a small gathering. There was an array of foods, however, I remember the streaks and sides. Tenderness, taste, and sneaking back for more. I knew Dr. Lopez didn’t cook this. I found that Marcos Garcia created it all through a Friend that Cooks. this type of service I'm not familiar with. I may have a housewarming that needs Mr. Garcia's talent.

Chef Marcos absolutely knocked it out of the park with his rigatoni and meatballs! The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the meatballs were tender, juicy, and packed with incredible flavor. Every bite had that comforting, homemade quality that makes a classic Italian dish so satisfying. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and you could really tell how much care went into every part of the dish. Definitely the kind of meal that leaves you wanting another plate before you’ve even finished the first! Another amazing dish from Chef Marcos!

Had the pleasure of trying Chef Marcos’ food! I don’t know what he called it but the pasta and herb chicken was absolutely delicious! The lemon and ricotta flavors created the perfect balance of bright, fresh flavor with a creamy richness, and the herbs on the chicken added so much depth. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It’s one of those dishes that feels both comforting and light at the same time—perfect for summer. Chef Marcos really knows how to make simple, quality ingredients shine. Absolutely loved this dish and would highly recommend it!

We recently had Chef Marcos prepare dinner for us at Dr. Neely’s, and the entire experience was absolute perfection from start to finish.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the **steaks**—cooked to perfection, impeccably seasoned, and melted in your mouth. Beyond the incredible food, Chef Marcos was professional, punctual, and a complete joy to have catering our evening. He handled all the preparation and left the space spotless, allowing us to relax and enjoy top-tier, restaurant-quality dining right in a private setting.

If you are looking for a personal chef who delivers phenomenal steaks and exceptional service, I cannot recommend Chef Marcos highly enough! We look forward to having him cook for us again soon.

Had the privilege of trying Chef Marcos’ steak with Dr. Neely, and it was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! The flavor was incredible, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You can truly taste the skill and attention to detail that goes into his cooking. It was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious from the very first bite to the last.
