I was very nervous about making this investment, but it turns out, it is saving me money. I'm not going out to eat all the time and I'm not buying stuff at the grocery store that I don't need. Instead I am getting well balanced delicious meals at home! It's so nice to have meals cooked and ready for me to eat. Chef Jacob has been great! He does a wonderful job cooking any of my requests and has prepared a lot of things I wouldn't cook for myself. I look forward to Tuesdays when Chef Jacob comes and fills up my fridge!

We are so pleased with Jessica! She is an excellent cook and very professional. We are eating dishes we would never have the time (or skill) to make and are eating healthier than ever!

We were excited to start up with A Friend That Cooks, to have help preparing healthy meals. We were worried though, as we are picky eaters with different tastes and quite a few dietary restrictions... Jacob to the rescue. He is amazing. He didn’t even bat an eye when we rambled on about all the restrictions, preferences and differing likes. His menu each week has accommodated all of that. And the food is sooooo good. We were mostly interested in the efficiency/assistance but the food is so much better than what we make left to our own devices. Wonderful flavors and seasoning, unique and exciting recipes, all prepared beautifully. It is also worth noting that we really like him personally. It’s great chatting with him each week, it really feels like having a friend that cooks hanging around! Thanks Jacob and A Friend that Cooks, you have made a wonderful (and tasty) change in our lives.

I can’t compliment Jacob Wright enough on the gorgeous dinner party he organized for us and our friends. The menu was so creative, the food was absolutely delicious and his professionalism and upbeat personality was just the icing on the cake. Our friends are still talking about the party! We will definitely be using Jacob again in the future!

Chef Tyler, you have made our lives so much better! after working 10 or more hours a day we no longer come home to frozen pizza!! We come home to delicious home cooked meals. And you even make delicious lunches we bring to work and school. I love this. This has changed so much. And Chef is so open to suggestions and our dietary preferences, such as low carb, so we can eat what we like and feel great! And the kids love him too!! Thank you so much for helping us live and eat better chef Tyler!! Lots of healthy vegetables, salads, everything we love and great splurge suggestions, love the steak with bacon!!

My chef Tyler is fantastic. I absolutely love this service. I am a busy, single woman. I can cook, I just don't like to, and I hate to grocery shop. This service has been fantastic because it frees up lots of time for me to devote to work and other things. The food has been fantastic and I have been able to give him guidelines that he easily sticks to, but still gets creative with my meals. I'd recommend this to anyone!

Tyler is new to me. I have used him for 2 weeks now and he is wonderful!!! I do all the shopping and put on my counter and he puts it all together. I choose to do all the shopping so his 4 hours I have him he can prepare prepare prepare. I don’t enjoy cooking or think out of the box, so that is what he does. I have 2 kids and they obviously don’t eat paleo, so he prepares food for them and we just put in another container and in his notes he lets me know whose is whose. My husband is thrilled and enjoying home cooked meals. We use to eat out 4 nights a week and we no longer are and what we spent $$ eating out, having Tyler Prepare is the cost of one meal eating out for 6 days worth of food in my fridge. Between 5 weeks of workouts with trainer, eating Paleo prepared by Friends That Cook for 2 weeks I have lost 7# and my husband 12#. I am so happy with Tyler and he has learned our tastebuds quickly. I listen to my husband making the mmmmmmmm sound the entire time he is eating
