Dream come true! Having a chef was always a dream for my wife and I. Thanks to Friend that cooks, our dreams have come true. Our chef Jessica has been above and beyond what we could have hoped for. We have a family of 6 and live very hectic lives, and Jessica makes our lives easier and healthier. I can't tell you what a stress reliever it is to come home to a healthy 5 star dinner to every night. This has been truly a blessing for us to have in our lives.

Chef Damar has been amazing! He was very willing to work with the dietary restrictions we requested. I had interviewed other services who seems hesitant to step outside of their comfort zone. He is always preparing excellent new dishes and welcomes our feedback. He even gets top reviews from our kids...enough said! I am excited to come home each week to find what he is creating. The entire Friend that Cooks process has been easy and stress-free. Thank you!

This review is not only about Chef Katie (who is excellent) but also about Friend that Cooks. We have had FTC service for about 6 years and worked with 3 different Chefs. Each chef has been wonderful, which means to me they hired great people. I would recommend their service to anyone in a location that has an FTC service. As for Katie, she has been able to create meals, salads, eggs, and snacks that keep a teenager and in-laws happy. So just to restate, I would recommend Katie and the whole KTC team to all.

Chef Damar continues to be amazing! We have worked with him for over a year now and he is still creating excellent meals! He is also very professional and respectful of our dietary restrictions and budget. Plus he leaves our kitchen cleaner than it was! I highly recommend jumping on board with this service as it has provided so much extra time for our family and has reduced the stress of "what's for dinner".

Chef Jess is just INCREDIBLE!!! This was single-handedly the best decision I made this year. She took the friction out of eating healthy and helped me stay on track through Covid. Highly recommended!!!!

The best decision this year is having Chef Jessica come and cook her amazing food each week. Working with Jessica on our food preferences means each week we have a fridge full of fabulous meals. With work and crazy schedules, Jessica has been a gift and is now truly a “friend” who cooks.

Our Friend that cooks Damar Wilson is amazing. It was like Grandma’s cooking back-to-back-to-back. I’ve never had dinner for dessert on the same night but I did with Damar’s fried rice. There was also this chicken dish from the Gods that tickled a place on my tongue that I didn’t even know I had. A 6th taste bud perhaps? I’m mad I didn’t find out about this earlier. Highly recommend and give him 6 stars out of 5.

Chef Jessica has been an absolute blessing to our family since our little baby arrived earlier this year. We are in the middle of designing and building a home, adjusting to parenthood, working, etc. and I had little time to make “real” meals for the family. She makes the best meals, she’s creative and open to making anything we’d like to try. I don’t know what we’d do without her in our life!!

Chef Damar has been with us for over a year and has become part of the family. When I'm home, we have fun camaraderie while he cooks and while I work on my laptop at my 10ft center island. Damar knows all the foods we like and dislike, I have been able to give him initial recipes that he easily sticks to but also gets creative with the meals. It has freed up lots of time, eating healthier meals and spending less going out. Does an amazing job for us each week with a wide range of selections from Tomato egg drop soup, Rosemary fingerling potatoes with asparagus, cucumber kimchee, Thai basil chicken, Asian Chicken, Ginger sesame chicken wings, Bulgogi beef meatballs with bok choy, zucchini fritters, shishito blistered peppers, Miso glazed brussels sprouts, Japanese spinach salad, broccoli coleslaw, spicy cauliflower quinoa patties with an avocado side sauce, Sloppy Joes, Pot roast with veggies, Keto ground beef, Lasagna, smoked gouda Mac & Cheese, to a full Thanksgiving meal. Definitely recommend Friends That Cook and Chef Damar!!!!

Chef Casey is AMAZING!! Every week my meals are so yummy!! Incredible concept and well worth it every week!! Thank you for giving me my time back and Casey thank you for feeding me healthy, delicious, and home-cooked meals!!
